Invitation No. 4: Connecting Us
In August’s letter, I shared how I spent a season believing that if I just had more—more time, more help, more success, more answers—I would finally feel settled.
But the more I paid attention, the more I realized I wasn’t actually longing for more.
I was longing for connection.
Not necessarily deep conversations or becoming best friends with everyone. Just the kind of small, everyday moments that remind us we're not doing life alone.
Even the simplest of connections would help me come back to the present.
Your Invitation
This is where you come in.
This invitation is called Connecting Us.
Connecting us in small simple ways — such simple things that we often forget.
Some ways to connect are:
- Smile at someone as you pass them.
- Wave to a neighbor.
- Say "Hello" to the person scanning your groceries.
- Hold the door open for someone.
- Look up from your phone while you're waiting in line.
Nothing big.
Just one simple connection.
Because sometimes all it takes is one small moment to remind someone they matter.
Your Gift
This month's digital gift is called 50 Tiny Ways to Connect.
It's a collection of simple ideas to help you find little moments of connection in your everyday life.
You'll find ideas for connecting around your neighborhood, at home, while you're out and about, and wherever you are.

Enter your email here to get it! And one thing I want you to know...
This isn't a checklist.
I don't expect (or even want!) you to do all 50.
Instead, I hope this printable becomes a little source of inspiration. Read through it, pick one or two ideas that resonate with you, and let them gently remind you to look up and connect with the people already around you.
Because connection doesn't usually happen in the big, extraordinary moments.
More often, it's found in the ordinary ones.

And to my Cheering You On Snail Mail Club friends — don’t forget you have a punch card that came in your letter! Every time you connect in one of these tiny ways, give yourself a stamp. It’s a physical reminder of each person you connected with 🤍
I'm so grateful you're here.
Cheering you on,
